Boulder County Wildfire Partners: From Assessment to Property Work

Find the appropriate county resource and keep its recommendations distinct from a private treatment proposal.

By Wildfire Treatment Group.

Find the service for your property

Boulder County describes assessment and assistance resources through Wildfire Partners, with services addressing different parts of the county. Use the official program links and confirm current eligibility and availability directly. A neighboring property’s participation does not establish the same arrangement for yours.

Keep the findings usable

After a review, ask for clarification of any recommendation you do not understand. Preserve the report with dated photos and records of subsequent work. When collecting quotes, point to the specific findings each contractor is being asked to address rather than forwarding a broad request for full wildfire protection.

Separate the provider’s role

WTG evaluates planned application to suitable vegetation and ground fuels. It does not issue the county program’s assessment or certification and does not imply official endorsement. Keep any application proposal separate from program requirements, and ask the program itself what evidence it needs to recognize completion of recommended work.
