Preserve the assessor’s wording
Keep the original report and mark the location associated with each finding. If a recommendation is unclear, ask the assessor to explain it before asking a contractor to price an interpretation. Record the answer with the report so different providers receive the same information.
Group work by responsibility
Building repairs, tree work, routine cleanup and possible pretreatment may require different providers. Create a simple work list that identifies the relevant finding, the proposed next step and the responsible person. Mark items that need further assessment rather than treating every observation as an instruction ready for purchase.
Compare the quote with the finding
When a proposal arrives, ask which recommendations it addresses and which remain outside scope. For WTG, share the vegetation-related findings and any preparation expected first. A completed application should not be recorded as completion of unrelated building or clearing work. Revisit the list after each project so remaining tasks stay visible.
