Show the whole connection
A pergola or patio cover can be easy to omit from a standard photograph of the house. Show the attachment, the area underneath and the surrounding landscape when asking a qualified building professional for a wildfire review. Identify the materials if you have reliable records; otherwise label them unknown.
Describe everyday use
Explain where furniture, cushions, planters and seasonal belongings usually sit. Ask the reviewer which changes concern the structure and which concern housekeeping or landscaping. Assign those tasks separately. If you plan to rebuild the cover, keep the proposed design available so advice is based on the intended condition rather than a structure that will soon be removed.
Make exclusions visible
When asking WTG about nearby vegetation, identify the cover and its contents as separate features. Ground pretreatment is not an automatic authorization to spray beams, roofing, fabric or furniture. Confirm access beneath or around the structure and discuss any work that must finish first. Keep the approved application map with the outdoor-project records.
