Ask who is doing each task
The person preparing a proposal may not perform every part of the work. Ask which company or crew handles assessment, preparation, application and documentation. Request a clear contact for project questions and scope changes. This is especially useful when tree, landscape and application work are being coordinated.
Confirm the handoff
Describe who decides that preparation is complete and who verifies the approved boundaries on arrival. Ask what happens if the crew encounters conditions outside the proposal. Avoid relying on an informal message passed through several people when a change affects the work you are authorizing.
Keep one current scope
For a WTG project, make sure the owner or authorized representative has the same approved map and exclusions as the people arranging access. Changes should be communicated before the affected work proceeds. Keep the completion record associated with the company that performed the task so future questions can reach the right party.
