Ask about placement
Show your firewood storage to the professional reviewing your home ignition zone. Include its relationship to buildings, decks, fences and access paths. Ask for site-specific placement guidance instead of copying a distance from a photograph of another property. NFPA home-preparation guidance is a useful starting resource for that conversation.
Make the new location usable
If relocation is recommended, work out who moves the wood, how deliveries arrive and how household members retrieve it. An impractical arrangement may drift back to the old location. Record any seasonal storage changes and keep access paths identified for maintenance providers. Ask whether the rack or storage structure needs a separate review.
Do not assume it is a treatment surface
Mark firewood and stored materials distinctly on your WTG site sketch. An approved vegetation scope does not automatically include them. If a pile will move before application, share the revised location and any disturbance left behind. The purpose of the review is to agree on appropriate work, not to promise that spraying stored wood replaces placement decisions.
